Chief Construction Officer

Christopher Edwards

As Chief Construction Officer, Mr. Edwards is involved in all aspects of the design and construction processes at Jonathan Rose Companies. Mr. Edwards instills a collaborative team approach in each project to ensure the client’s needs are met, risks are identified and mitigated, and the project is completed on time, on budget and with the highest standard of quality.  He brings more than 18 years of experience in the fields of development and construction management and has overseen over $1 billion of work throughout his career.

Chief Construction Officer

Christopher Edwards

As Chief Construction Officer, Mr. Edwards is involved in all aspects of the design and construction processes at Jonathan Rose Companies. Mr. Edwards instills a collaborative team approach in each project to ensure the client’s needs are met, risks are identified and mitigated, and the project is completed on time, on budget and with the highest standard of quality.  He brings more than 18 years of experience in the fields of development and construction management and has overseen over $1 billion of work throughout his career.

Mr. Edwards is responsible for guiding the company’s design and construction process on all new developments, rehabilitation projects, and third party Owner’s representative work.  He has experience in a variety of project types including new construction and rehabilitations of mixed use multifamily, theatrical, commercial, and educational facilities.  

Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Mr. Edwards was a Project Manager for The Dermot Company, a private developer, where he managed new construction and renovation projects ranging from $1.5 million to $186 million. Earlier in his career, Mr. Edwards was a Project Management Cost Systems Engineer and an Assistant Project Manager at Turner Construction where he worked on core and shell commercial buildings, office renovations/office ft-outs, and educational facilities.  As a Project Management Cost Systems Engineer, Mr. Edwards performed internal project audits to analyze cash flows and projected profits, performed staff analysis to minimize the risk of general conditions overruns, and performed project cost variance analysis.

Mr. Edwards is a LEED Accredited Professional who received his Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. His unique qualifications of field experience and project cost analysis allow him to identify and mitigate risks early in the design and construction process, which results in project success.

Scott Anderson

Mr. Anderson joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2017 as a Regional Facilities and Construction Manager. He provided facilities management and construction management for rehabilitation projects within our multi-state portfolio working closely with our Construction Management Practice Group and Management Company.

Scott Anderson

Mr. Anderson joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2017 as a Regional Facilities and Construction Manager. He provided facilities management and construction management for rehabilitation projects within our multi-state portfolio working closely with our Construction Management Practice Group and Management Company.

In January 2020 Mr. Anderson was promoted to Senior Construction Project Manager and provides construction oversight for our rehabilitation projects working close with Asset Management, Development Group and Building Management Teams.

Before joining Jonathan Rose Companies in 2017, Mr. Anderson held the position as Project Manager / Operations Manager with a General Contracting firm with activities such as Sales, Estimating, Capital Improvements, Insurance Restoration, Preventative Maintenance, New Construction, Remodeling, Design, etc.

Mr. Anderson has over 38 years’ experience in the Residential and Commercial Construction Industry, Project Management, Multi-Building Facilities Management, Operations, and Inspections.

Senior Construction Manager

Thomas Sadlowski

Thomas Sadlowski joined Jonathan Rose Companies in April of 2015 as Senior Construction Manager. He provides construction oversight for our Development Practice and is currently working on Market Rate and Affordable Housing projects as well as working on a project with our Education Practice.

Thomas Sadlowski

Thomas Sadlowski joined Jonathan Rose Companies in April of 2015 as Senior Construction Manager. He provides construction oversight for our Development Practice and is currently working on Market Rate and Affordable Housing projects as well as working on a project with our Education Practice.

Mr. Sadlowski was in involved with construction support during the design development phase and currently is or has provided construction management oversight for the following projects:

GROUND UP CONSTRUCTION

  • Montague Pierrepont Apartments - Brooklyn Heights, NY – a green, mixeduse residential building, comprised of two 19 story towers. The project will be a 162,000 sf luxury 80/20 rental building with 86 units and approximately 6,000 sf of retail.
  • Norris Home Phase V – A 130 unit, 135,00 sf, mixed use affordable residential building.
  • Sendero Verde – A 3 building 709 unit, 752,000 sf, mixed use affordable residential project.
  • Portner Place Apartments – Washington, DC – An 96 unit, 110,000 sf affordable living apartment building. It is being developed and built in conjunction with a market rate apartment project by a separate developer, but part of the same PUD.

RESIDENTIAL & EDUCATIONAL RENOVATION CONSTRUCTION

  • Performed design and construction oversight of approximately 800 units of residential renovations on projects in New York, NY., Ossining, NY., La Mesa, CA., Los Angeles, CA., and Torrance, CA.
  • Ethical Culture Fieldston School – Bronx, NY – A four story renovation and addition of their Lower Adler Lab project.

In Mr. Sadlowski’s 35 years in the Development/Construction industry he has held Management Positions with Sub-Contractors, General Contractors, Owner/ Developer/Operators and Third Party Construction Management Firms.

He has had experience in a large number of different construction methods and has managed projects in various cities throughout the United States.

Mr. Sadlowski received his Bachelor of Professional Studies Degree in Construction Management from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY in 1981.

Michelle Krajewski

Michelle Krajewski is the Director of Construction Management at Jonathan Rose Companies, where she oversees the firm’s design and construction group and leads project execution across both new development and rehabilitation initiatives. She is responsible for project development, construction execution, and strengthening internal processes that improve communication, reporting, and operational efficiency. Michelle’s leadership approach is grounded in clear communication, thoughtful delegation, and effective coordination across departments to ensure strong project outcomes.

She is responsible for project development, construction execution, and strengthening internal processes that improve communication, reporting, and operational efficiency. Michelle’s leadership approach is grounded in clear communication, thoughtful delegation, and effective coordination across departments to ensure strong project outcomes.

Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Michelle began her career at Israel Berger Associates, a fa?ade consulting firm, before transitioning to Extell Development Company, a New York City developer, where she managed the construction of new commercial and residential buildings ranging from $120 million to $250 million.

She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Ms. Sherman joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2017 as an Assistant Project Manager.  She provided construction management oversight, alongside senior management, for rehabilitation projects in Connecticut, New York, Philadelphia, Denver, and California.

In January 2023 Ms. Sherman was promoted to Project Manager providing oversight for rehabilitation projects within the east coast and west coast portfolio.  Ms. Sherman is responsible for delivering projects (budgets ranging $3MM - $30MM) on schedule and on budget while also supporting best practices to implement healthy building materials through our national procurement initiative, and support resident experience and well-being.
